Issue :  Nothing happening after data Import   OR

                 Unable to Import the Data in Tally   OR

                No Error or No Record Imported to Tally


Solution:



Generate XML file using Excel to Tally TrueRatingApp


When you are trying to import the data in Tally ERP using XML file, Make sure that option "Ignore errors during data import" is set to Yes.  This setting will allow Tally to import the matching data and generate the log/imp file with the summery of Imported data and not imported data with complete error description.


On gateway of Tally, Press F12 > General  > Import/Export Configuration  Section  >"Ignore errors during data import" -- Yes


Once it's set to Yes, Try importing XML File Again.


Now, if you are getting any error, Please check Tally.imp


Tally.imp file located under Tally.ERP9 local folder. 

Right click on Tally Icon > Properties > Open File Location > Check for the file type "IMP file" > Open with Notepad

Tally.imp file. Go to End Of File it will contains complete data import log with error reasons
